Welcome to my my little website.  I have broken down my thoughts into categories based on the type of computer and the network being used.  It's broken down further by particular need (anti-virus, ISP's, firewalls, etc).  I have also added a section entitled Current Recommendations.  This is "short list" of what I would recommend in any particular situation, without the underlying reasons.  The sections that follow define why.

What I have avoided creating is yet another tech support website.  There are enough of them already (see my "Links" section).  My goal with this information is to provide a structured synopsis of what I do as a Computer Systems Network Administrator.  This role requires me to conduct both Primary Research and Secondary Research.  In addition, I have tried to use a structured Document Control System to ensure quality and revisioning.  The amount of graphics is minimal to keep it simple and to allow me to keep it up-to-date.
